Learn a new instrument, start a band, play a show! We have several programs throughout the year designed for youth ages 8-18. Our programs are open to self-identified girls, trans, non-binary and gender expansive youth. Additionally we offer financial aid available so that no one is turned away for lack of funds.
GRASP- Girls Rock After School Program:
A 10-week program for youth 8-18 years old. Students attend instrument lessons, form a band, write an original song, participate in workshops, and at the end of the program perform with their band at a live showcase.
One week-long music immersion! Campers attend instrument lessons, form a band, collaboratively write an original song, participate in daily music and empowerment-related workshops, and perform with their band at a live showcase at the end of the week.
Peer Mentor Program (ages 15-18):
2019 marks the fourth year of our Peer Mentor program (formerly known as the Internship Program) at Bay Area Girls Rock Camp! Peer Mentors will gain leadership experience while continuing to build musical skills, make new friends, and help us further the BAGRC mission.
Become a member of our fully equipped practice space for youth! Open to returning youth participants who would like a place to practice with their bands or hone in on their solo musical skills.
