Rock Prom Team Info & Rules

Rock Prom Benefit  |  Friday, May 5th, 2017  |  7:00-10:00pm  |  The Humanist Hall

We're coming together to raise $25,000 at our first ROCK PROM!  With your help, we can reach our goal and make sure that no one is ever turned away from Rock Camp for lack of funds! 

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
  1. FORM A TEAM with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, bandmates, etc
    Own or work for a local business? This is a great teambuilding activity for staff or other groups.
  2. INVITE people to support your team by making a donation.     
  3. COLLECT DONATIONS from family, friends, coworkers, your hairdresser, your favorite local businesses, etc.
  4. COMPETE for the Grand Prize for the Highest Fundraising Team and Special Prize for the Highest Individual Fundraiser, plus win lots of other great prizes for Team Spirit, Best Costumes, Best Dancer, and more!

DEADLINES & RULES- VERY IMPORTANT!

FUNDRAISING & COMPETITION DEADLINE:  Each team must register and raise a minimum amount in order to attend the event WHAT IS THE DEADLINE?
   ▻ Teams of 1-5 must raise at least $375 to attend (if teams of this size raise at least $500, each team member will receive a +1 for the event)
   ▻  Teams of 6-10 must raise at least $600 to attend (if teams of this size raize at least $800, each team member will receive a +1 for the event)
   ▻  All ages are welcome


▸ FINAL FUNDRAISING DEADLINE for HIGHEST FUNDRAISING PRIZES We encourage you to keep raising money until the final fundraising deadline, which occurs WHEN?

EVERYBODY WINS!
  FREE TREATS! Each team that raises $1,000+ will win a dozen cupcakes and bottles of champagne or sparkling cider to enjoy while dancing.
  PHOTOBOOTH Get some shots of your team in those amazing costumes!
  SILENT AUCTION with amazing prizes to be announced!

Cash or checks made out to Bay Area Girls Rock Camp.  Cash and checks must be mailed to BAGRC at PO Box 72213, Oakland 94612. To drop off donations, please call to make sure we’re in: (510) 267-1808.
All donations are tax-deductible, and all donors will receive a thank you postcard, tax letter, and guest pass to our summer showcase series.
