Rock 'N' Bowl Team Info & Rules
We're coming together to raise $20,000 at the fourth annual ROCK 'n' BOWL. With your help, we can reach our goal and make sure that no one is ever turned away from Rock Camp for lack of funds!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
- FORM A TEAM with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, bandmates, etc
☆ Own or work for a local business? This is a great teambuilding activity for staff or other groups.
- INVITE people to support your team by making a donation.
- COLLECT DONATIONS from family, friends, coworkers, your hairdresser, your favorite local businesses, etc.
- COMPETE for the Grand Prize for the Highest Fundraising Team and Special Prize for the Highest Individual Fundraiser, plus win lots of other great prizes for Team Spirit, Best Costumes, and more!
DEADLINES & RULES- VERY IMPORTANT!
▻ Teams with 1-5 bowlers get one bowling lane and must raise $500+ by 5/5 in order to participate.
▻ Teams with 6-10 bowlers get two lanes and must raise $800+ by 5/5.
▸ FINAL FUNDRAISING DEADLINE for HIGHEST FUNDRAISING PRIZES We encourage you to keep raising money until the final fundraising deadline, which occurs in the middle of the Rock 'n' Bowl: May 15 at 3pm.
▸ TEAM SIZE & REQUIREMENTS– Your team can have any number of fundraisers raising money for the cause, but we must limit the number of bowlers per lane due to space.
▻ The absolute maximum number of bowlers who can attend the event is 10 per team, including children. (This rule is to prevent the lanes from becoming overcrowded and uncomfortable! Thank you for understanding.)
▻ Every team member who attends the event must be a registered member of your team. Please do not bring extra people (again, this is to prevent overcrowding).
▻ No bowling experience is necessary and all ages are welcome.
▸ FREE PIZZA! Each team that raises $1,000+ will win a free extra-large pizza and a pitcher of beer or soda to enjoy while bowling.
▸ PHOTOBOOTH Get some shots of your team in those amazing costumes!

▸ Cash or checks made out to Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. Cash and checks must be mailed to BAGRC at PO Box 72213, Oakland 94612. To drop off donations, please call to make sure we’re in: (510) 267-1808.
▸ All donations are tax-deductible, and all donors will receive a thank you postcard, tax letter, and guest pass to our summer showcase series.

▸ The Albany Bowl is wheelchair accessible, including all bowling lanes.
▸ Please be as low-scent as possible (do not wear perfume or cologne!) to make this event more accessible to chemically sensitive folks.
