2008 Girls Rock Camp was a smash!
Our summer session had an incredible group of brilliant, creative girls and the most dedicated, fantastic volunteer staff that could possibly exist in the world. Girls Rock! is a documentary about the rock camp in Portland, without whom Bay Area Girls Rock Camp would not exist. Well, actually it's about these brilliant, creative, resilient campers battling soul-crushing aspects of female adolescence in a mass-media monoculture. It's SO GOOD!
