Your donations ensure that our programs stay accessible to girls of all socio-economic backgrounds, with financial aid for those who wouldn't otherwise be able to come to camp. Wish List & In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations are tax-deductible. Instrument equipment must be in good, working condition. You can make a drop off at our donation station, The Starving Musician in Berkeley or we can pick them up if you are in the area. Contact melissa [at ] bayareagirlsrockcamp.org about in-kind donations.
THE BIG ONE
• A permanent space with 10-15 practice rooms, and a small office space in or very near Oakland.
INSTRUMENTS/EQUIPMENT
• Guitars, guitar amps, guitar strings, straps, guitar effect pedals, picks, tuners • Basses, bass amps, bass strings, bass effect pedals, straps, picks • Drum sets, drum heads, hardware, cymbals, sticks, mallets, brushes, tuning keys • Keyboards, amps, AA, C and D batteries and battery charger • Turntables and DJ equipment • Microphones, mic stands, mic cables • 1/4" cables, power strips • P.A. systems • Headphones, 1/8" to 1/4" adaptors
OTHER
• Shows and benefit events for Rock Camp • Food/beverage/catering donations during our programs • Books, CDs, zines, and comics for our mini-library that will be available for the girls. Content should be relevant to the nature of the camp. • Printer paper, card stock and other office suppplies
